God Bless You & Good Night has been a bedtime favorite in our home since we first reviewed it. So, I was super excited when I found out that they released a touch and feel board book version. Not only does it have the precious illustrations we know and love but now it has the tactile element to it!

In my first review of God Bless You & Good Night, I raved about how adorable the illustrations in this book were. Of course, I expected no less of this latest version and I'm happy to report, it did not disappoint!
I cannot express how thrilled I was when they came out with this board book version! Seriously, the touch and feel is merely an added bonus.
As I've painfully learned at the expense of several books, hardback and paperback book have pretty much no chance when at the mercy of toddlers. And because this is my daughter's favorite book, I've kept it heavily guarded trying to keep it intact. But not anymore!
If you're not familiar with the God Bless Book Series, you're definitely missing out. This particular book takes us through the familiar nighttime routines of several different animal families. That, coupled with the fun-loving illustrations, makes this a bedtime favorite.
Out of all of my kids, my 3-year-old loves this book the most. So, of course, there was no shortage of excitement now that her favorite book has "feels" on it
While the board book version of this story is a few pages short of the hardback version, I was happy to see the polar bears made it in...they're her favorite =)
I was only slightly disappointed that some of the animals didn't make it in but I'm guessing it's because it would've been too big for little hands. Anyway, my daughter didn't seem to notice or mind.
Still a favorite, this bedtime story has only gotten better. If you're looking for a new bedtime addition, God Bless You & Good Night will not disappoint. My kids range in age from 1-8 and all enjoy hearing mommy read it. Unless, of course, my 3-year-old (whose memorized the book word for word) decides to read it instead!
