The past couple of months have been...eventful to put it simply. As a result, I've been rather scarce in the blogging world, jumping on mainly to fulfill previous commitments and let you guys know that I didn't fall off the face of the earth somewhere. Things have somewhat calmed down and I find myself finally in a state where I can open up about the serious life changes the past 2 months have brought us.
I recently made the decision to change my eating and exercise habits (or lack therof) and start living a healthier lifestyle. I try to give myself some grace and remind myself that I just had a baby 5 months ago but the time has come. It's not just about getting the baby weight off...Yes, that is part of it. But the truth is, Yah has placed this desire and the need to change in my heart long before today. Now, I'm just realizing that had I acted sooner...it might be easier. Isn't that how it usually works...**Sigh**

So I recently started thinking of ways to help my 7 and 4-year-old to be more responsible in their daily hygiene routine. Currently, our daily routine has them getting baths before bed time, but we like to have them wash up in the morning before getting dressed and ready for their day.
